Principles thinking is to solving complex industrial, science and business problems in addition to the problems we face in our business environment. Smart goal is effectively creating a plan for success. By setting goals, you are providing your establishment with a target to aim for. The smart goal is used to support guide goal setting. It is also stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely.

The Think Principle: Learners are shown questions to ask themselves before they speak. They evaluate three responses according to the criteria presented. This activity has audio content.

The Smart Principle: Learners will examine how to use the 'Smart' principle to make sure a goal is simple, measurable, realistic, timely, and holds people accountable.
