Narcissism is a personality disorder characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, a lack of empathy, and a constant need for admiration. While many people exhibit some narcissistic traits, a true narcissist displays these traits to an extent that interferes with their relationships and daily life. Unfortunately, this can also extend to the workplace, where narcissistic individuals can cause a great deal of damage to their colleagues, teams, and organizations.
